Daphne passed away in June 2020, one week after her 92nd birthday. Although struggling with the effects of her final illness, and macular degeneration, Daphne managed to complete some final drawings the week before her death; and took great delight in knowing that renowned designer rug firm, Dilana, had completed one of her works for their Artist’s Collection http://dilana.co.nz/daphne-mason . Dilana have since added another Daphne Mason rug to their collection.
